Summary: On Friday 1,000 Palestinians living in Israel marched to commemorate the deaths of six Palestinians who were killed in 1976 while protesting against Israel’s confiscation of their land. The event was also a way for Palestinians to voice their complaints and denounce Israel’s current plans to move 500 Palestinian residents out of the city of Tel Aviv. Despite these efforts, Israel continues with its planned evictions.
Response: Naturally Al-Jazeera has an anti-Jewish bias and must be read with a critical eye. That being said, given Israel’s fragile position in the region it seems very foolish for the Israelis to further provoke Palestinians, who are already more than willing to die for their cause.
